本次阅读前面两篇文章难度不是很大，尤其是前两篇。但是题目有一些难度。这次考试的题型比较分散，但是T/F/NG题型比例比较大。

文章主要内容	这篇文章讲的是印度从前独有的，现在还有一些遗址的stepwell这一建筑的一些特点。前面四五段的样子主要介绍了这种建筑的总体介绍。其中重点是它不只是提供生活用水的用途。也是人们公共聚集和社交的场所。后面的五六段的样子每段介绍一个有名的stepwell的遗址，然后说明其有什么区别于其他stepwell的特点，最后说明人们还是大量的涌入这些遗址去看。

文章主要内容	文章主要讲的是birth order对人的发展是不是有很大影响。文章的开头说的是研究表明firstborns（长子/长女）在学术上都要比其他的孩子优秀。后面主要是说明不同的学者有不同的观点。先是有个完全反对，然后又分两段分别在健康和营养说明firstborns有优势，第一页的后面的大长段说的是firstborns在职业上有优势。接下来一页的头两段说的是非firstborns的孩子的特点——两段分别说的是他们的性格特点和职业选择上的趋势。最后两段说的是这个理论的驳斥观点。

文章主要内容	这篇讲的是ingenuity对社会发展的影响。第一段讲的是作者对ingenuity的定义。后面两段讲的是society对ingenuity的require和provide什么。之后的大部分主要讲的是各个方面社会产生的变化对于自然、对于人们认识、判断问题产生了很多主要是不好的影响。最后说是这个作者对这本书的腰探讨的问题主要列出。
